Ideal government

I think my ideal government should be run by a small council of the brightest minds and wisest men in the community. This way, all decisions will be confirmed by all council members. If there is something that doesn't sound logical, or that won't help the community in any way, then one or more council members can defy the decision, and they will hold a vote on the decision between the council members. It will also be easy to replace a council member if he/she becomes ill or dies. All we have to do is find the next brightest person in the community. I think this will be the bet government because we have not one, but several bright minds running the community.

How does corruption in leadership affect society

When a leader is corrupt, the society doesn't function properly. The corruption can be anything, from a leader executing civilians to using taxes for their own personal gain. When this happens, the people of the society think of the leader as a bad person, and think he is unfit for leading them. When this happens, some people try to take the leader's power while others protest and revolt. Soon the protesters become rioters, and destroy government property and boycott government events. Eventually, all of this get out of hand and anarchy takes over.
